Communism Cake

In light of having studied many revolutions and such in modern history, I baked a communism cake! (Hammer and sickle) It's a two layered, chocolate and vanilla cake with choc icing in the middle!

Thought it'd be appropriate for the last modern class EVER! Graduating high school means on the way to equality between students and teachers ;) (ay ay?) (Ok poor attempt at a joke)

Hope my teacher likes it :P



Icing the cake was REALLY DIFFICULT. Just warning people out there, do not attempt to use glace icing to make patterns or anything complicated because it will most likely FAIL!

I iced the cake with glace icing (too lazy to make other types of icing), and then drew up a template of the hammer and sickle and TRIED to place it over the set glace icing and then ice it with the same thing, but it all just sticks together and the colour runs all over the place.

So, anyone who's lazy like me, DON'T BE! (If you want to do a good job)
